Detailed Engineering & Design Development
Following the approved conceptual stage, PGE refines the design into comprehensive development and working drawings across all engineering disciplines. This phase involves a narrative description of the Basis of Design Report (BODR), which covers electromechanical services, general equipment descriptions, and basic design criteria. We ensure that every architectural detail—from site plans to finishing schedules—is meticulously planned and coordinated with other disciplines to facilitate a smooth transition from theory to physical construction.
Our detailed engineering expertise covers the full spectrum of facility needs, including structural framing plans, HVAC systems, and electrical infrastructure. We focus heavily on the mechanical and electrical systems, as these have a direct impact on long-term operating costs and facility efficiency. Every element, including life safety drawings, firefighting systems, and plumbing routes, is studied according to relevant codes, such as the Egyptian Fire Code, to ensure total compliance and safety.
- HVAC Systems: Detailed design of heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems for cleanroom environments.
- MEP & Infrastructure: Full engineering for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure.
- Structural Engineering: Developing framing plans showing expansion joints, foundation designs, and construction materials.
- Life Safety: Reviewing project drawings according to the Egyptian Fire code and preparing site emergency plans.
